Welcome!

Sunday, March 4, we will have an Evensong Service at 4:00 p.m.  All are welcome

The Season of LentA New Offering: In recognition of the beginning of the 501st year after the Reformation, St. Paul’s Church and Shepherd of the Glen Church are partnering for worship and fellowship during the Lenten Season. Yes, we are going to be Lutherpalians for six weeks. Both Church congregations are invited to learn, worship and fellowship together, in the unity of Christ.

We pray you will participate in the six joint Lenten Programs starting February 14th, Ash Wednesday. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the solemn 40 days before Easter. Ashes from palms burned on the previous year’s Palm Sunday are placed on the altar and blessed. Using these ashes, the priest makes a cross on the foreheads of the congregants to signify humans as mortal.

St. Paul’s Ash Wednesday Services are Noon, here at the church, AND, 7:30pm at Shepherd of the Glen Lutheran Church, 14551 Burntwoods Road, Glenwood 21738. Both services will include the Imposition of Ashes and Holy Eucharist, thereby providing time choice and convenience for everyone. Listed below are the details of our Lenten Study. We will be using the same format (meal, study and brief closing worship) and menu (soup, bread and dessert) as is the tradition here at St. Paul’s. The Revs. Susan S. Keller and Paula Canby will share the leadership responsibilities. So come. Be blessed. Bless others. Walk with Jesus and your neighbors this LENT.
